Marco Maran nasce a Siena nel 1963. Il suo design è il risultato di un continuo lavoro di ricerca, sintesi e perfezionamento dell’idea.
Progetta con varie aziende di riferimento del design e partecipa a mostre nazionali e internazionali.  Per tanti dei suoi progetti ha ricevuto premi e riconoscimenti: 1995 Primo Premio Young & Design per Sinuè – 1996 Secondo Premio Young & Design per Zip – 1997 Premio Internazionale Grandesign e Premio IIDA Product Design Achievement Awards per Chiacchiera – 2003 Premio Good Design, Chicago, per So Happy – 2004 Premio Sidim, Montreal, per So Happy e Nuda&Cruda – 2005 Premio Catas per la sedia più innovative  con X3 – 2006 Premio Good Design, Tokyo, per Ricciolina e So Happy  – Selezione ADI DESIGN INDEX con Body to Body – 2008 Chicago Good Design, Chicago, per Body to Body – Premio Internazionale Grandesign per Lovely – 2011 Selezione CHRISTMUST 2011 con 3x2.

Marco Maran was born in Siena in 1963. His design comes from incessant research, synthesis and continuous improvement of ideas. He co-operates with several well-known design firms and his works have appeared in many national and international shows.
